Vice President Kashim Shettima expressed optimism about the current economic situation, stating that the worst is behind us.

He praised the creativity of Nigerian youths and their role in shaping the country?s future during the official launch of the National Design and Innovation Competition at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Regarding the economy, Shettima affirmed that the naira will continue to stabilize in the coming weeks and months as the administration led by President Bola Tinubu addresses issues such as food security, nutrition, and insecurity.

He highlighted Tinubu?s efforts in addressing insecurity and assured that robust plans are in place to tackle these challenges.

Shettima emphasized the importance of innovation, stating that it drives manufacturing and that Nigeria is filled with potential and opportunities.

The vice president reiterated the government?s commitment to supporting youth aspirations and entrepreneurship, applauding financial institutions for their support of the creative sector.
